The ReCARES Large DME System connects Bay Area residents who are donating large durable medical equipment with residents who need it.
ReCARES has limited storage space at each site, so we are unable to distribute large equipment like hospital beds and power wheelchairs ourselves. Instead, we've built a system to direct connect people looking to donate these items with community members who need them.

Include your contact information and a description of the item you would like to give away. Pictures are great if you have them! If you would like to give away multiple items, please fill out the form separately for each item.
Once you've submitted the form, we'll send you an email with the contact information of anyone who has expressed interest in an item like yours. If you sign up for ongoing email notifications on the Google Form, we will notify you anytime we have another potential recipient sign up, for the next 60 days.
It is up to you to reach out to potential recipients, or for potential recipients to reach out to you. You can then coordinate pick-up/drop-off and any other logistics.

ReCARES cannot provide donation receipts for items exchanged through this system because of IRS regulations.
